Video Short – How to Keep Herbs Fresh for Weeks
Transcript – How To Keep Herbs Fresh For Weeks!
Today I’m gonna show you how you can keep your herbs fresh for two, or three weeks.
First, you’re gonna get yourself a Tupperware-type container that closes nice and tight.
I put a paper towel in the bottom of the container. I put my fresh herbs on top of that. I cover them with another paper towel. Then I put a regular towel here that I have moistened slightly. It’s got enough moisture you can see on the inside cover. You close it. Make sure it closes hermetically (airtight).
And voila, you’ve got a box (of herbs) that will stay fresh for two or three weeks.
Basal is not gonna save. Chives are not gonna save more than a few days. But the other herbs like parsley, cilantro, oregano, thyme, or rosemary. Two, three weeks.
