I love French toast...my favorite breakfast food! Especially when topped with my special syrup made with fresh berries, a little sugar, and a touch of Grand Marnier! And don't worry, if it is for the kids you can always substitute orange juice for the Grand Marnier. Or use regular syrup. Either way, they are going to love it!

Recipe Instructions
For the Toast:
Melt about 2 tablespoons of sweet (not salted) butter in a large skillet or frying pan large enough to host your bread.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasonings in a lasagna pan. And place the bread in the egg mixture for about one minute. Be careful, too long will make it mushy.
Place bread into your hot skillet and cook them until a beautiful golden brown. Approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side, depending on the temperature of your pan.
For the Fruits:
In another smaller pan, heat 1 or 2 tablespoons of sweet butter and when hot add about ¼ cup of sugar, add Grand Marnier. When hot, add the strawberries and other berries and cook them for a couple of minutes.
To Serve:
Add two golden toasts on each plate in a single layer and drizzle with Syrup and top with fruits.
